Woody’s Bush Cabaret is bringing big laughs, catchy tunes, and the chance for everyone to participate in Summer in the Park!
A family-friendly musical comedy blending interactive storytelling, bushland puppetry, and original Aussie songs in a high-energy show where kids (and playful grown-ups) become part of the action.
Woody will also teach the basics of ukulele playing and then everyone can join in the finale of the show!
Best suited to youngsters and their families, expect a morning of fun, movement and musical mischief. Free, all welcome!
Getting there
Theatre Place is located on Maling Road, Canterbury.
Parking
Maling Road has on street parking as well as four parking lots. Two are located on Bryson Street, one on Wattle Valley Road and one behind the shops on Maling Road. Please be sure to adhere to parking signs.
Public Transport
Bus 285 from Camberwell Central/Doncaster Park and Ride and Bus 612 from Box Hill Station/Chadstone stop within walking distance from Maling Road.
Canterbury railway station is situated adjacent to Maling Road, with regular trains to and from the city on the Belgrave and Lilydale lines.

Bring a picnic and a rug and pick your favourite spot as the sun goes down. Some refreshments will be available for sale.
