Quiet Hour provides an opportunity to experience Town Hall Gallery exhibitions with less people and lower sensory stimuli.
During your visit to the Gallery, you can expect:
- Exhibition sounds to be turned off
- Music in the customer service areas to be turned off
- No PA announcements, except in case of emergencies
- A dedicated quiet area nearby
- A dedicated staff member to support any additional needs
- Headphones to borrow.
These weekly, free sessions are for anyone who would benefit from a quiet and calm setting to encounter art, including people with dementia, autism, disability and chronic illness conditions.
All ages are welcome.
No bookings necessary.
Experience art with a twist
This event is part of our Art+ program.
This year, we’ve introduced Art+ at Town Hall Gallery. The program offers a mix of events and activities that invite you to experience the gallery in new and creative ways, including artist talks, film screenings, workshops and live music surrounded by art.
