Experience a unique and atmospheric collaborative performance at Town Hall Gallery featuring Aboriginal artist and spiritual leader Lipwurrunga (Les Huddleston) and the acclaimed Inventi Ensemble—Melbourne’s leading innovative music ensemble.
Following a wide-ranging musical performance featuring flute, oboe, cello and didgeridoo, enjoy an intimate Q&A with Les, where he will share stories behind his practice, culture, and the powerful artworks on display.

This event is presented alongside the community exhibition ‘Lipwurrunga’ by Les Huddleston with support from Empowering Community Growth and is part of Council’s National Reconciliation Week program of events.
About the exhibition
Through vibrant oil paintings, traditional wood carvings and didgeridoos, ‘Lipwurrunga’ by Les Huddleston connects ancient knowledge and practices with contemporary creativity and expression. Each work explores themes of sustainability, culture, and the deep and constant connection between people and Country.
‘Lipwurrunga’ is on display at Town Hall Gallery from 30 April to 14 June 2025.
