Led by Melbourne jazz vocalist and singer-songwriter Helen Catanchin, Feelin’ Groovy reimagines the timeless songs of Simon & Garfunkel through fresh jazz-infused arrangements.
A lifelong admirer of the duo’s intricate harmonies and poetic songwriting, Catanchin created the project around a six-piece ensemble featuring some of Melbourne’s finest jazz musicians. From buoyant favourites to deeply reflective ballads, Feelin’ Groovy celebrates the wit, tenderness and enduring relevance of one of popular music’s great songbooks, with performances spanning leading Melbourne jazz venues and concert stages.
