Angela Librandi is a powerhouse Melbourne vocalist with a career spanning live performance, television, touring and recording. After moving from Adelaide to Melbourne, she toured Australia and Asia with Tina Arena before becoming a regular member of the house bands for Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush, In Melbourne Tonight and Hey Hey It’s Saturday, and has performed on a Grammy Award-winning album.
Her credits include performances with Jimmy Barnes, Hugh Jackman, Kate Ceberano, Marcia Hines, Vanessa Amorosi, Ross Wilson, Renée Geyer, Thelma Houston, Brian Cadd, Eric Benét and Jessica Mauboy, alongside appearances on Good Morning Australia, The Midday Show, the Good Friday Appeal and The Panel.
As frontwoman of soul and funk outfit Afrodescia, she supported Chaka Khan in Melbourne and has performed with visiting musicians associated with James Brown and Alicia Keys. Angela Librandi will bring her signature sultry sound and diverse repertoire, ranging from soul to jazz to Italian, for one night with her all-star band.
