Paul (Floyd Thursby, La Mauvaise Reputation) and Anja (Anja & Zlatna) join forces to lead a genre-bending quartet in their ongoing project, ANJA & FLOYD: Love Songs, featuring Andrew Tanner on double bass and Harry Lye on vibraphone.
All based in Melbourne, these artists bring extensive experience across diverse musical styles and performance settings.
In this intimate and exploratory program, familiar love songs are reimagined through close vocal harmonies and distinctive instrumentation, inviting audiences to hear beloved music in a completely new light.
The set spans multiple languages and draws on the work of artists such as Tom Waits, Charles Aznavour, Nick Cave, David Bowie, Zdravko Čolić, Oliver Mandić, Radiohead and Coldplay, among others.
