Step onto the streets you thought you knew and uncover the stories of the trailblazing women who shaped Boroondara but were written out of its history.
Starting at the Boroondara Cemetery and finishing at Town Hall Gallery, together, we’ll walk through the heart of Boroondara – tracing the footsteps of women who created community, rewrote laws, built movements and refused to stay silent. Along the way, we’ll uncover the stories of artists, musicians, activists, organisers and everyday rebels who helped shape the Boroondara we know today, including artist AME Bale and mechanic Alice Anderson.
