Ella is backed by a stellar band of Melbourne-based musicians, mostly from a collective known as Deadnecks - a Grateful Dead cover collective. Ella brings cosmic American music to life through classics including You’re No Good, It’s So Easy, Willin’, Silver Threads & Golden Needles, Tumblin’ Dice, Blue Bayou, When Will I Be Loved and Long, Long Time.
Best known as the dynamic front woman of Killing Heidi, Ella Hooper has forged a celebrated solo career in country, rock and Americana, with her album Small Town Temple debuting at No.1 on the Australian Country chart.
