Oscar LaDell
Raised in a rural seaside village in the South of Aotearoa/New Zealand by bohemian American immigrants, Oscar LaDell’s early life was soundtracked by Blues & Soul albums from artists like Curtis Mayfield, Muddy Waters, Bonnie Raitt & Sam Cooke.
No stranger to touring, LaDell ended 2025 with a 20-date tour of the UK, Europe and United States. In Australia & Aotearoa, LaDell enjoys a growing audience due to regular touring and, more recently, a string of support slots.
Since 2024 LaDell has warmed the stage for Blues legends Charlie Musselwhite, Robben Ford & Christone ‘Kingfish’ Ingram & for local acts such as Bondi Cigars (AU), Wilson Blackley (NZ) and his father King Leo (NZ).
