Formed in Melbourne in 1992, Icecream Hands is one of Australia’s iconic power pop bands.
With 8 albums under their belt and 2 ARIA nominations for their 1999 hit "Sweeter Than The Radio", they’ve built a loyal following on the back of masterful songwriting, melodic brilliance and impeccable guitar riffs.
After a 13-year hiatus, the band returned in 2020 with the critically acclaimed No Weapon But Love. Their latest release, Giant Fox Pineapple Tree, burst out of the gate in late 2025, debuting in the ARIA Australian Top 20 Albums and delivering a masterclass in harmony-drenched, guitar-driven pop at its finest.
Singles “Back On The Road” and “Tambourine Mountain” received glowing reviews and wide radio play, topping Amrap’s inaugural Community Radio Airplay charts. After sold-out launch shows in Sydney and Melbourne in December 2025, Icecream Hands are back in 2026 to celebrate the release of their new EP Pineapple Pieces: proving they are better than ever with hooks, harmonies and a trademark charm that keeps fans coming back for more.
