Monologue, Duologue and solos – $25
Group Drama – $40

Adjudicators:

TBC (Group Drama)
TBC (Recitation of an Australian Poem, Public Speaking)

Participants who are either related to the adjudicator or have been taught privately by the adjudicator within 6 months prior to date of event are ineligible to participate in this section.

Participants must read and agree to the General rules and info before entering the competition.

Sessions will take place at Hawthorn Arts Centre.

Solo Recitation of an Australian poem – 12 years and under

Solo Recitation of an Australian Poem – 15 years and under

Solo Recitation of an Australian Poem – 18 years and under

Solo Public Speaking – 12 years and under

Solo Public Speaking – 15 years and under

Solo Public Speaking – 18 years and under

Dramatic Monologue –12 years and under

Dramatic Monologue – 15 years and under

Dramatic Monologue – 18 years and under

Dramatic Duologue – 12 years and under

Registration fee: $25
Time limit: 3 minutes
Requirements: Any duologue, original or published. Use of mixed media allowed – any combination of poetry, prose, music, sound effects, costume or props.
Prizes: 1st – $50, 2nd – $30, 3rd – $20

Dramatic Duologue – 15 years and under

Dramatic Duologue – 18 years and under

Group Drama (3 to 8 people) – 12 years and under

Group Drama (3 to 8 people) – 15 years and under

Date: 3:30pm, Saturday 2 August
Registration fee: $40
Time limit: 8 minutes
Requirements: Any group dramatic piece for 3 to 8 people, original or published. Use of mixed media allowed – any combination of poetry, prose, music, sound effects, costume or props.
Prizes: 1st – $100, 2nd – $50, 3rd – $30
