We support the creation of art for the community, by the community. With a wide range of creative projects taking place all over Boroondara, there is always something different to discover.

‘Coming Together as One: the art of inclusivity’

The exhibition ‘Coming Together as One: the art of inclusivity’ was commissioned by us from QArt Gallery and Studio by Endeavour Foundation, and features professional artists with intellectual and physical disability.

Wild City

Wild City was a special community artwork developed by artist Kathy Holowko along with hundreds of Boroondara primary-school students.

‘Universally Repaired’ was a community artwork co-created by multi-disciplinary artist Rachel Wood and members of the Boroondara community.

All Aboard: Travel Through Time

'All Aboard: Travel Through Time' is a Boroondara Arts collaborative community art project including over 400 grade 1 and 2 students from seven primary schools local to Maling Road.

APOMAWISH

'APOMAWISH' was a collaborative art project designed by artist Rachel Burke and brought to life by the community, presented at the Hawthorn Arts Centre in 2021.

If these leaves could talk

'If these leaves could talk', led by local artist Emily Shannon, was a series of free online activities for the community, which contributed to a community art installation at Hawthorn Arts Centre
