Libraries
A cashiering service operates at the Kew library, where you can make enquiries about Council services and pay Council rates.

Boroondara Transfer Station

Household waste, general waste (such as disused household appliances) and green waste can be disposed of at the Boroondara Transfer Station (charges apply). General recyclables that are normally collected by Council's kerbside collection service can be dropped off free of charge. Charges may apply for other items.
Opening hours:
- 1pm-4pm Monday to Friday, for all types of waste
- 8am-4pm Saturday, for all types of waste
- 8am-4pm Sunday, for green waste and recycling drop-off centre only
Closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
Kew Depot Recycling Drop-off Centre

Only accepts paper, cardboard, plastics (code 1 to 7), glass bottles and jars, aluminium and steel cans. No general waste or green waste will be accepted.

- 8am-3pm Monday to Friday
- 10am-2pm Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays
Closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
