Some of our services are closed or have different hours over Easter, from Friday 29 March to Monday 1 April.

If you have an unwanted item and you're not sure what to do with it, use our guide to find the best way to deal with it.

Please note: It is illegal to put batteries or electrical items (e-waste) in any household or street bins. Batteries and electrical parts are toxic. They can explode and cause major fires in our collection trucks and at our waste processing facilities. You can only recycle batteries at the Boroondara Recycling and Waste Centre or through the following the methods listed in this guide.
