Local shopping and community precincts will come alive with the return of Street Sounds this summer, creating vibrant entertainment as you shop, dine and explore at locations all across Boroondara.

We will be presenting free roving entertainment for all audiences, featuring a diversity of artists and cultures, as well as circus performances. Musical genres and styles include:

  • klezmer (gypsy)
  • tango
  • jazz
  • country
  • Latin
  • Parisian

The Street Sounds program brings vibrancy to local shopping strips and community precincts, supporting our Arts and Cultural program, Bare to Beautiful program and the local Placemaking Framework. Street Sounds is delivered in a free, COVIDsafe format.

Keep your eyes and ears open while enjoying your local area, and as the summer rolls on, watch out for the addition of more entertainment across more locations.

Playing a mixture of upbeat jazzy carols and jazzy covers on the move, The Jazz Associates bass duo will put a smile on your face with festive vibes and music.
