Submitting documents electronically helps support environmental sustainability. When you submit supporting documentation for a Planning Permit application electronically:

  • Save all files in PDF format.
  • Make sure no file is larger than 5MB. If a full set of plans exceeds this size limit, split the plans into separate PDFs.
  • Attach the files to an email message. Label all documents submitted by email so they can be clearly identified. Use the application number if applicable. Otherwise provide the property address and a description of the information submitted.
  • Send the email and attachments to the Statutory Planning Department.

The total size of the email and attachments should not exceed 20MB. If the total file size becomes too large to email, use a CD, USB drive or a file-sharing site, such as Dropbox or Hightail.
