From enchanting street decorations to music events for all the family, and a charity book drive hosted across our local libraries, there's something for everyone to enjoy this festive season.

For all the latest information on activities and events taking place near you, keep an eye on our Events page.

Give the gift of reading this Christmas

We invite you to donate a new book from a local Boroondara business as part of the Book giving tree program being hosted across our local libraries.

Book drop-off points at libraries will open from Wednesday 8 November and close Friday 15 December. You can see the opening hours of each of our libraries on our Libraries page.

We are pleased to partner with You Matter to host this program. You Matter supports women and families who have experienced family violence by providing furniture and other household items necessary to run a functional home.

Donated books will be distributed to these families by You Matter and you can find out more about this organisation on the You Matter website.

The sound of Christmas

A series of free and ticketed musical treats are in store for those seeking some Christmas tunes this year, from classic carols to jazzy tempos that all the family can enjoy.
