Alamein/Belgrave/Lilydale Line to Camberwell Station

Get off at Camberwell Train Station at the northern end of the Camberwell Junction.


Docklands – Wattle Park (Route 70)

This tram runs along Riversdale Road. Get off this tram at the Camberwell Junction (stop 40).

Melbourne University – Camberwell (Route 72)

This tram runs along Burke Road, through the heart of the Camberwell Junction Shopping Centre.

City – Vermont South (Route 75)

This tram runs along Riversdale and Camberwell roads. Get off this tram at the Camberwell Junction (stop 40).


Doncaster Shoppingtown – Camberwell (Route 285)

This bus route terminates on Station Street, in front of Woolworths.

Box Hill – Chadstone Shopping Centre (Route 612)

This bus route runs via Camberwell and stops in Station Street or Fairholm Grove (in front of/behind Woolworths), depending on the direction of travel.

  • Camberwell Junction is one of the main activity centres in Boroondara and has an excellent walking network. There are good walking paths from the east near the train line and from the west through Fritsch Holzer Park.


  • On-road bike lanes run down Burwood Road and Burke Road into Camberwell Junction.
  • Informal cycling routes also run to the Junction, including those along Camberwell Road, Riversdale Road, Harold Street and Prospect Hill Road.
