From time to time, there are volunteer opportunities available at Boroondara Library Service.
Home Library Service
Our Home Library Service relies on volunteers to deliver and collect books and other materials to residents who are unable to visit the library.
If you're interested in volunteering, you'll need:
- a current driver's licence
- your own car
- spare time on a regular basis (usually monthly)
- a Police Record Check (we can arrange this for you).
English Conversation Club
English Conversation Club is an hour-long weekly conversation class for adults who speak English as a second language, to help them use English conversationally in a friendly setting.
If you're interested in volunteering as a tutor, you'll need:
- experience as an English or ESL teacher
- an understanding of cultural diversity
- a Police Record Check (we can arrange this for you).
