Spring is around the corner to brighten our days, and so are the Boroondara Library Service butterflies! We will have some butterfly chrysalises in the library for September school holidays, which will be released at a special event to be announced soon.
Want to learn more about beautiful butterflies? Well here's a fact from Encyclopedia Britannica 'the monarch butterfly has a foul taste and odour and is avoided by birds!'. Want to know even more? Try these amazing butterfly books, selected by our library staff. Read up on our new friends while we wait for them to hatch!
