Library reopening 29 May 2020

Our libraries are closed. Find out how to borrow or return items.

There are many ways you can keep reading from home with your library card. Technology means you can take the library wherever you go so you can keep reading, wherever you are.

Use your Library Membership Number and 6 digit PIN to login and start reading. Your PIN should be your date of birth (DDMMYY). Don’t have a membership with us yet? Join the library online to access all our digital collections.

Kids' reading

Kids can watch quality storytelling from our best actors, authors and performers on Story Box Library as they read fantastic, Australian picture books. Or settle in and listen to audio books together and enjoy animated picture book favourites on Kanopy Kids.

eBooks and audio books

You can download thousands of eBooks and audio books using the Libby and Borrow Box apps. Search or browse by author, title or category across all genres and age groups.

Magazines, newspapers and articles

Read current copies and back issues of your favourite magazines and newspapers from around the globe on RB Digital and Press Reader. Find these and more on our Newspapers and magazines page.

You can also do some research or professional reading with ProQuest and EBSCO. See our Databases to get started.

Reading recommendations

Library staff have chosen a huge range of top reads across many subjects and genres for reading inspiration. Visit our Booklists page to reserve or download recommended titles.

Need help getting started?
