We have an amazing collection of thousands of historical photographs waiting for you to discover.

Some images are printed while other are available digitally.

Our collection includes photographs of people, events in Boroondara, buildings, streetscapes and the natural environment from the mid 1800s to the present day.

We are always keen to add new photographic treasures to help people understand how the local history of the area has been shaped.

If you have printed or digital photos of people or places in the City of Boroondara, you can donate a copy to the library to help us collect and share the memories of our City.
