Room capacity, rates and hours

Kew Library has one meeting room, the Phyllis Hore Room. This large meeting room includes a piano and is available 7 days a week.

** Community group hourly rate is available to Boroondara community groups and organisations.

Book the Phyllis Hore Room

    The meeting room at Kew Library provides:

    • 12 tables and 70 chairs
    • a whiteboard (bring your own markers) and a lectern
    • a digital data projector, a microphone (must be collected during library opening hours and returned after the booking), ceiling speakers, a television and a DVD player
    • a piano
    • a kitchenette with a microwave, an oven, a fridge, a dishwasher, a boiling water outlet on the sink, cups, glasses, and some cutlery (bring your own dishwashing liquid and tea towels)
    • Wi-Fi internet (library membership required).

    The room requires self-service setup and pack up during the booking time.

    A defibrillator is in the Kew Library foyer.
