Bring the family for a whole heap of good cheer, and enjoy a wonderful community vibe, followed by a night of caroling. Twilight Christmas gift market There will be so much Christmas fun, including: late-night shopping in many Kew businesses Christmas gift market stalls including young entrepreneur stalls outdoor dining with Kew restaurants and cafes free face painting free balloon twisting pony rides at Raoul Wallenberg memorial a reptile encounter in Pakington Street a visit from Santa  roaming Elves – for fun and pics on-street entertainers and more! There will also be free rides for kids, which include: an Atomic drop slide in Fenton Way a Chair o’ Plane in Pakington Street a Pirate ship in Peel Street. Transport and parking to the market Parking will be limited in and around Kew Junction, so it may be best to get public transport to visit the market, or consider parking a little farther away and catching the tram to High Street. There is on-street parking on most streets and there are three car parks: Leo’s car park, off Brougham Street Woolworths car park, off Walpole Street Fenton Way car park, accessible from Wellington Street. For public transport to Kew Junction you can catch the 109 or 49 tram, or the 200, 207, 302 and 304 buses. Kew Community Christmas Carols We are proud to present Kew Community Christmas Carols at 7 pm in the Holy Trinity (High Street) Church, everyone welcome. These carols are put on by St Hilary’s Hope Inc., in association with the Kew AVA Boroondara Senior Citizen Club, Holy Trinity Anglican Church Kew, Boroondara Community Outreach, Sing for Recovery, the Kew Junction Business Association, and other community volunteers. Featuring local soloists, community Choirs and musicians, Kew’s own Philip Brady OAM, Santa and much more. The Boroondara Community Outreach giving tree will be available to donate vouchers for essentials to needy families and individuals, and a children’s activity. This will be a fun night for all ages to come together and celebrate the spirit of Christmas in Kew. This is a community-run event and not organised or endorsed by Council.
