Representatives from Victoria Police and community organisations will present on the latest community safety issues and crime prevention initiatives in Boroondara. The forum will feature presentations from Victoria Police, Boroondara Neighbourhood Watch, Consumer Affairs Victoria and the International Security Management and Crime Prevention Institute. Topics covered will include: update on local crime statistics simple tricks on home and car security family violence concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic how to become involved with Boroondara Neighbourhood Watch how to recognise and protect yourself from scams how urban and architectural design can build a sense of community and help reduce crime. There will be a Q&A discussion at the end of the presentation. You can submit your questions for the Q&A discussion when you register for the event. Registrations are essential.
