This stage of life can be liberating and empowering but also difficult to navigate because the hormonal changes that occur affect each body differently. Understanding how to nourish your body during this time is essential to positive health benefits through menopause and beyond. Join us for a free pilates session at 6:45 pm. Wear comfy clothes and feel free to bring a mat (we will have spares) and a water bottle. There will be gentle, modifiable exercises to include everyone. This is followed by an information session at 7:30 pm where a local accredited dietitian will discuss: Metabolic change and diet at midlife  Nutrition for heart and bone health Foods to support hormonal health Where to access nutrition resources and support. All are welcome! This is an all inclusive event for the whole community to learn how to support friends, family and the wider community through the menopause transition. This session is delivered in partnership with the YMCA and Access Health and Community. About the speakers The team of accredited practicing dietitians at Access Health and Community build on people’s knowledge and skills to make healthy and enjoyable food choices for themselves and their families.
