08/21/2020 1:00pm 08/21/2020 2:30pm NBN scams information session As part of National Scams Awareness Week, NBN Co will provide the latest insights and intelligence from Scamwatch in order raise awareness about the most common and emerging NBN-related scam trends in the recent months. The session will cover how you can recognise these scams and tips to protect yourself. This is an online Microsoft Teams event. You do not need to have a Microsoft teams account to attend an online session. How to use Microsoft Teams On your PC/laptop using a web browser (nothing to install) Click on the link in the event confirmation email you received after registering. Select the option Watch on the web instead. Your browser may ask if it's okay for Teams to use your mic and camera. Be sure to allow it so you'll be seen and heard in your meeting. Select the option Join anonymously. On your tablet or smartphone Click on the link in the event confirmation email you received after registering. If you don't already have the Teams mobile app, you'll be taken to your app store to download it. In the app, select the option Join meeting. Type your name. Tap Join meeting. Once you're in the meeting, you can turn your video or mic on or off by tapping on the centre of your screen to show the meeting controls. Tap again to hide them.  Help joining the event We will have dedicated staff members available to help with connection problems on the day.  Call 9278 4666 if you are experiencing difficulties accessing the event.
