She is an Indigenous artist, master weaver, traditional dancer, bushtukka woman and educator whose art making processes are informed by Aboriginal culture and history.  Mon Mungun means ‘healing weave’ in Taungurung language. Join Cassie to create a beautiful woven bracelet made with natural fibres and decorated with foraged materials such as shells and feathers. Each bracelet represents traditional stories, wrapping around the wrist and giving protection to the wearer. Materials will be sent out to attendees via post in advance of the online workshop. We can provide Auslan-interpretation at this event, and we need at least two weeks to confirm an interpreter.
