The workshop includes: an introduction to the art of collage creative warm-ups to activate the mind an exploration of elements and principles of collage a discussion about identity. By the end of the workshop, participants will have made between one to 5 collages which they can take home. This activity is suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years old. Parents may be required to help. A parent or guardian is required to stay within the Hawthorn Arts Centre during the workshop. There is space for you to work on a laptop in the workshop room or foyer spaces if required. You do not need a workshop ticket. Event details

A collage workshop focusing on the idea of self, expression and identity.

The workshop includes:

  • an introduction to the art of collage
  • creative warm-ups to activate the mind
  • an exploration of elements and principles of collage
  • a discussion about identity.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have made between one to 5 collages which they can take home.
