Suitable for parents, educators and carers, you will hear about the benefit of risk in nature play and learn fun and practical activities that will support outdoor learning, challenge and adventure.  Coordinator of Education and Community Programs for the Botanic Gardens and Centennial Parklands in Sydney, Sam is the co-author of Australia’s first recognised bush training program for Early Years practitioners, Early Years Bush Connections. The recipient of a Botanic Gardens Foundation and Friends scholarship in 2016, Sam travelled to Europe to study nature kindergartens and forest school practices in Denmark and in the UK.
