06/02/2022 11:00 am 06/02/2022 12:30 pm Launch of the Boroondara Reconciliation Strategy 2022-26 Join us as we officially launch the Boroondara Reconciliation Strategy 2022-26 at a special event held during National Reconciliation Week. The Strategy represents a significant step on our reconciliation journey. It provides a 4-year vision and action plan for implementing reconciliation initiatives in collaboration with Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation and other stakeholders in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander sector and the broad community.  The strategy, which will be officially launched at the event, features artwork by local artist Lewis Wandin-Bursill. Lewis is a proud young Wurundjeri man of the Woi-wurrung language group. As an emerging artist, his recent works have been informed by his interest in the traditional ways of his ancestors. Join us for a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony conducted by a Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Elder. Light snacks will also be provided by Mabu Mabu, an Indigenous-owned and run business that specialises in using native ingredients and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
