Dhanajay Hegde Born into a musical family, Hegde started performing at the age of 7. He began learning music at the age of 4 from his mother Smt. Geeta Hegde then from Pt. Venkateshkumar from Dharwad and Pt. Vinayak Torvi. His father, Sri G.S. Hegde, is a tabla player and founder of a music organisation “SAPTHAK”. An interesting aspect of Hegde’s music is the blend of Kirana and Gwalior Gharana, which he has absorbed from his Guru. Pandurang Torvi Torvi was born into a family of musicians in Dharwad, Karnataka. He started playing tabla at the age of 8. Initially he learnt from Shri Rajaguru Kallurkar and then pursued rigorous training under legendary tabla player Pt.Basavaraj Bendigeri of Dharwad for nearly 10 years. Pandurang is also a graded artist of All India Radio. Prasad Karve Since retiring from his profession as a chef, Karve has pursued his lifelong passion of music. He hails from a music-loving family and has learned classical vocal from the doyen of Hindustani classical music in Melbourne, Smt. Dhanajay Hegde
