Featuring music from Mozart, Haydn, Schubert and Schonberg, the performance will be accompanied by special guest narrator Mairi Nicolson reading excerpts of letters to and from the featured composers. This performance promises another unique and evocative concert experience by critically acclaimed Firebird Trio. Violin: Curt Thompson  Curt Thompson performs throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia as concerto soloist, recitalist, concertmaster, and chamber musician in such prestigious venues as Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall, Salle Gaveau (Paris), Teatro Naçional de Costa Rica (San José) and the Shanghai Concert Hall. Cello: Josephine Vains Performing around Australia and internationally to acclaim, Josephine Vains thrives on collaboration and exploring the emotional relationship between musician and audience.
