The artists and curators will be on hand to talk about the artworks.  This is a free event, but bookings are essential.  Book now About the exhibition Unknown, Untitled The Town Hall Gallery Collection comes from humble beginnings formed by the donations and bequests of local dignitaries, with the addition of former Camberwell, Kew and Hawthorn municipal collections. Four contemporary artists were commissioned to create new work based on the historical and civic items in the collection, which focuses on harnessing the breadth of creative activity and history our city encompasses. The selected artists spent time getting to know the collection in order to find aspects and elements that drove their contemporary responses. The exhibition features items from the collection alongside the new works they inspired, promising viewers a new way of seeing historical works and cultural objects. Featuring artists: EK1, Sai Wai Foo and Mathew Greentree. felt On the Community Project Wall, felt features diverse works by members of Victorian Feltmakers Inc. The exhibition includes wearable art, jewellery, sculptures, wall hangings and framed works. The exhibition aims to change people’s perceptions of contemporary felt, as well as raise public awareness of it as an artistic medium. About the exhibition

Unknown, Untitled
