05/05/2019 11:00am 05/05/2019 3:00pm Edible gardening in small spaces and Permaculture Day Having your own home grown produce is convenient, healthy and tasty. But what if you’ve only got a small space to work with? Discover how easy it is to grow your own food, even in limited space. From herbs to fruit trees and everything in between, learn how to select the appropriate plants and containers for your situation. As part of Permaculture Day there will also be plant sales (cheap herbs, little strawberry plants, some trees) and a swap table (bring your surplus produce and garden goodies, swap for something you need). Coffee and finger foods will be served and kids will be able to decorate a pot made from upcycled material to plant a seedling. This event is supported by grant funding from the City of Boroondara.
