In this workshop, Jane Dyer from Backyard Honey will talk about what’s involved in establishing a honeybee hive in an urban backyard and producing your own honey.  You will learn about choice of bee species, colony dynamics, hive placement, equipment required, and will learn about your role as a beekeeper.  Come along to see the live honey bee display, participate in yummy raw honey tasting, and have a chance to win a copy of The Contented Bee book.
