The classes are self-contained, so you can drop in any week. There is no need to book or bring anything. Classes begin with a simple guided breathing meditation followed by a teaching and a second guided meditation based on the topic. There is also an opportunity for discussion, followed by refreshments. The meditation topics are: A Clear and Happy Mind: discover the Buddhist psychology for controlling the mind. Learn scientific methods for developing inner peace and enjoying true happiness by developing the capacity of your mind. Class dates are July 3, 10, 17 and 24. The Art of Acceptance: learn to overcome anger, frustration and painful emotions; respond to problems with positivity; and discover true inner peace in the face of life’s difficulties. Class dates are July 31, August 7, 14 and 21. The Art of Self-confidence: develop a positive self-view, overcome negative thinking patterns that destroy self-esteem and live a confident, happy life. Class dates are August 28, September 4, 11 and 18. No meditation experience is necessary, the classes are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators.
