Bring your friends and family too! Whether you are new to sport or are keen to try something different, this event is a great opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to: enjoy showcases from the experts in wheelchair rugby, wheelchair AFL and Goalball watch or participate in blind tennis, badminton, ten pin bowling, blind soccer and gymnastics connect with local clubs to learn more and join a team in Boroondara. This event is open to people of all abilities aged 5 years and over. Access keys and BindiMaps are available at the venue to audibly describe where users are, what’s around them, and the best way to move around the facility. Limited sports wheelchairs and a quiet zone will be available for use on the day. This event is brought to you by City of Boroondara, in partnership with Disability Sport and Recreation, Paralympics Australia, and The Y. This is a COVID-safe event. All visitors must be vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend. Gymnastics classes Two gymnastics classes will be available. The first class is parent assisted class and the second class is unassisted. Both classes are aimed at people with autism or intellectual disabilities aged between 8 and 17 years. Due to limited spaces, anyone interested in joining the gymnastics classes must also pre-register.  Register for gymnastics class Venue accessibility Boroondara Sports Complex is well equipped to cater to people of all abilities including.
