The Hawthorn Arts Centre will come alive with a variety of exciting events and activities across the precinct, hosted by much loved Channel 9 presenter Pete Smith. Don’t miss this opportunity to ‘get social’ and listen to a range of leading health practitioners, explore community exhibits, try out new activities, engage in hands-on workshops and enjoy music and dance performances at the community variety concert. Schedule of events Time Main Events  11am - 12:30pm Welcome and Add Life to Your Years Launch Guest speaker panel session: Get Social and Maintain Good Health Panel featuring:  Dr Sally Cockburn (Dr Feelgood)  Dr Rosanne Freak-Poli (Monash University), and Victoria de Lacy (dietician and nutritionist). 1pm - 3pm Community Variety Concert Featuring:   Kavisha Mazzella: The ARIA award-winning singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and choir leader draws on her rich multicultural heritage to create music with a haunting melody and lyrical depth. Join Kavisha at the end of the concert for a mass choir and community sing-along. Wind Octet players from the Orchestra of U3A Hawthorn  Chinese Traditional Dance Troupe Greek Community of Melbourne Dance and Music Group, and Yarra Gospel Choir and Rechoired.
