The BVRC have created a toolkit (PDF, 1.08 MB) designed to equip, inspire and encourage community organisations to create skilled volunteer projects and roles.

Volunteering Australia has developed a National Standards for Volunteering Management framework.
The National Standards contain benchmarks to help organisations attract, manage, recognise and retain volunteers, and to manage risk and safety.
Volunteering Australia also publish an annual State of Volunteering report that details trends, demographics, challenges and successes in the volunteering sector in Australia.
