Activities for over 55s

We offer activities including book clubs, cards, cinema, cycling, dressmaking, excursions, footy tipping, golf, walking, theatre/concerts, armchair travel and a men's chat group. Runs on the first Monday of each month from 10 am to 12 pm (noon). Cost: please contact the club for details.

Wide range of activities on offer including photography, investment, writing, outings, family history, walking, movies, music appreciation, painting, photography, ukulele, wine appreciation, woodworking and home maintenance and more. Runs on the fourth Friday each month from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Cost: $45 per year.

We meet on the third Friday of each month (December and January excluded) from 10 am to 12 pm. A short formal meeting is followed by a presentation from an interesting speaker. Other activities we run include a discussion group, film group, discovery walking, dining out, and morning coffee regularly across the month.

We are a mixed group of seniors whose Club has monthly Monday meetings with a guest speaker. Other varied and interesting activities are also organised including dine-outs, excursions, theatre, films, walks, garden groups, caravan and cabin group, craft and conversation group, picnics. We are a Probus Club, which provides fellowship, fun and friendship to all retirees. We meet on Thursdays from 10am to 12noon. We have coffee mornings, a walking group, a group subscribing to the Malvern Theatre company and we also have day activities visiting places of interest. Cost: contact club for details.

Our U3A is a welcoming environment that aims to provide learning opportunities and social interaction for retired and semi-retired members of the community. There is a wide range of classes and activities on offer and presenters are drawn from both outside and within the member group. We run over 70 full year courses – languages, exercise & walking groups, literature & film groups, music courses, art classes, extending your thinking sessions, history groups and travel presentations. These are all led by member tutors. Plus more than 80 short courses each term presented by local, interstate, and international lecturers.
