If you are having trouble walking, a motorised mobility device, such as an electric wheelchair or motorised scooter, is a great way to get around.

As part of our BA4A network and in partnership with Access Health and Community, we offer a unique education program for anyone with limited mobility who's interested in trying a motorised mobility device.

These workshops are a great way to 'try before you buy' and ask the attending occupational therapist about a mobility assessment.

You'll get the chance to test drive a motorised mobility device at the Kew Traffic School and find out more about it, including safety aspects and how to purchase or hire one.

You'll also have the opportunity to join our SWAT (Scooter and Wheelchair Access Team) to advocate for people with mobility issues to have greater access and inclusion into their community.

To book or to find out more, contact our MetroAccess Project Officer on 9278 4777, TTY 9278 4848 or email MetroAccess Project Officer.
