The Boroondara City Council (“Council”), acting under section 189 of the Local Government Act 1989 (“the Act”), proposes to sell the following parcel of land, contained in part of Certificate of Title Volume 11514 Folio 850.

The area of land involved is 17 square metres and is shown as hatched in the plan below. In appearance and function the land forms part of the footpath and road reserve and is maintained by Council.

It is Council’s intention to sell the land to Kew Development Corporation Pty Ltd (ACN 119766264). Further information on the proposal can be found on Council’s website:

In accordance with section 223 of the Act, any person wishing to make a submission on the proposal must do so in writing to the undersigned by no later than Wednesday 7 March 2018.

A person making a submission is entitled to request in the submission that they wish to appear in person, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission, in support of the submission at a meeting of the Council or its Committee on a date, time and place to be determined by the Council.

Any submissions received will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act. Following the consideration of any submissions, Council may decide to sell the land, part of the land or not to sell the land.

Any person making a written submission under section 223 of the Act is advised that all submissions and personal information in the submission will be handled by Council in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014.
