The City of Boroondara welcomes the results of the Victorian Government’s annual Community Satisfaction Survey, with residents rating Council above the average ranking of other metropolitan councils and higher than the state-wide average for most priority areas.
Mayor of Boroondara Cr Jim Parke said the results were pleasing and a reflection of Council’s efforts to deliver on the community’s priorities.
“Councillors and staff are committed to improving services to meet the needs of our community.
“The results provide very positive feedback; however, we recognise there’s always more work to be done. We will continue to focus on delivering excellent service and programs to our community by placing them at the centre of everything we do.”
A total of 64 from 79 Victorian councils participated in the survey which asked the community to rate the importance of each service and then their satisfaction with its performance. The services which received the highest rate of satisfaction from the Boroondara community were the appearance of public areas, recreational facilities and waste management.
“We would like to thank the Boroondara community for participating in the survey. This feedback assists Council to deliver on the community’s priorities and a better customer experience for our residents,” Cr Parke said.
