The Boroondara Literary Festival is in full swing, with events at all our libraries until the end of the month.

One highlight, and the final event on the calendar, features UK author Helen Jukes in conversation with Tessa Laird to discuss her memoir A honeybee heart has five openings

The author talk at Camberwell Library is part of the Melbourne Writers Festival and is the final event in the first annual Boroondara Literary Festival.

Helen will share how her year of beekeeping helped her break free from the office grind and how tending her hive made her see life from a new perspective.

Helen tutors creative writing at Oxford University and Tessa Laird is a noted art critic and author who has founded magazines and written several books.
