Are you a young person interested in gaining experience and learning about the music industry?
Boroondara 360 Youth Services is currently looking for young people aged 12 to 21 years to join the Boroondara FReeZA Committee.
Committee members receive training, learn new skills, gain industry experience and broaden their networks within the community.
It is open to young people who live, work, study or play in the City of Boroondara and provides valuable insight into the music and events industries for members.
Young people with an interest in event management, live music, sound and lighting production, media and promotion, photography and design are encouraged to apply.
Committee members also have access to a band membership which includes free access to a rehearsal space, gig opportunities through the FReeZA program and access to industry development sessions.
FReeZA is a Victorian Government program that supports young Victorians to get involved in community life by planning and running drug, smoke and alcohol-free music and cultural events for other young people.
