Over Easter (Friday 19 to Monday 22 April) and on Anzac Day (Thursday 25 April), some of our services and centres may be closed or have different hours. Please see details of all affected services.

Planning is currently underway for the 2018 - 2019 Boroondara Arts program held across Council’s three arts venues - Hawthorn Arts Centre, Kew Court House and Town Hall Gallery. Residents are invited to have their say about what they want to see included in the Boroondara Arts program.

Boroondara has a vibrant cultural scene, steeped in a rich history. Council produces a range of arts and cultural events each year including exhibitions, family events, concerts, live performances, outdoor events and creative workshops.

Council is currently seeking feedback from residents on the type of events residents would like to see in the local community arts venues, how people would like to hear about them, and any barriers that prevent attendance at arts and leisure activities.

City of Boroondara Mayor, Cr Phillip Healey encourages all residents to share their views.

“Arts and cultural events are clearly immensely important to our local community, and it’s for this reason we’re seeking feedback from residents about how we can ensure we’re providing programs that are relevant, interesting and accessible.”

The information received will help Arts & Culture shape the 2018 and 2019 arts programs, and will be invaluable to our planning.”

As an added incentive, those who complete the survey have the chance to win a $100 voucher to attend an upcoming show in the Boroondara Arts Program.

To participate in the short survey, locals are encouraged to visit http://boroondara.fluidsurveys.com/s/ArtsWeb/ before it closes on 24 September 2017.
