The City of Boroondara is proud to present the city’s first Pet Expo on Saturday 17 November 2018.
Held at the Boroondara Farmers Market, the family day out will offer a variety of fun and fascinating activities and workshops, as well as opportunities for pet registration and free micro-chipping.
Mayor of Boroondara Cr Jane Addis described the Pet Expo as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for information, support, tips and advice for responsible pet ownership.
“The Pet Expo is Boroondara’s opportunity to celebrate our pet-friendly city and reinforce the importance of responsible pet ownership,” said Cr Addis.
“Nearly 20,000 cats and dogs are registered across our city. We are also home to 45 designated off-leash areas for dogs, which provide a positive space for pets and their owners to enjoy leisure and physical activity in our parks.
“I encourage all Boroondara pet lovers, pet owners and their four-legged friends to join me at the Pet Expo for an educational and entertaining day out.”
