Stage 3 lockdown: guidance and support.

Did you know that a disposable nappy takes an estimated 500 years to break down in landfill?

We encourage Boroondara residents to register for our upcoming Modern Cloth Nappies 101 workshop in support of World Environment Day and play an important role in helping to reduce waste sent to landfill.

Modern cloth nappies are a great alternative and have completely changed since the old-style cotton terry squares many remember. No more pins, boiling, bleaching or soaking involved. Instead, they are very quick to use, simple to launder, and cost less than a fifth of the price of disposable nappies (and less with subsequent children).

Whether you are still pregnant or already have children in nappies, this workshop is for you. Modern cloth nappies can easily become a part of your everyday nappy solution and it doesn’t have to be all or nothing. By substituting just half your disposable nappies with modern cloth nappies, you will instantly cut your nappy costs and reduce your landfill waste by up to half.

Register for the free workshop, hosted by Cloth Nappy Workshops Melbourne on Sunday 21 June.
