Applications are now open for our Small Grants (Biannual).
Our Small Grants Program provides not-for-profit community-based organisations and groups small grants of up to $3,000.
The grants are designed to help run projects and activities that support the social, cultural, recreational and environmental needs of Boroondara residents. This could be funding for new equipment, developing new activities and other projects that would benefit our local community.
Not-for-profit community organisations and groups can apply for grants of up to $3,000 under 6 streams:
- Active Community – Sports and Recreation
- Life-long Community – Opportunities for Over 55s
- Creative Community – Arts and Culture
- Healthy Community – Health, Safety and Wellbeing
- Sustainable Community – Environmental Sustainability
- Vibrant Retail Precincts
In Round 1 of the Small Grants (Biannual), we invested over $83,000 in 40 community projects.
